  • Welcome!

Welcome to my blog-site! Take some time and roam around. Use it to discover what you love about moments captured. I will be updating this frequently, so make sure to check back often!

About Me: My name is Michelle and I run this shindig :)

I got my first camera when I was 13 and I couldn't find anything more exciting than creating a scene to compose beautiful images out of. I've always had a joy in capturing raw emotion happening in the moment, wether it be on a stage in front of an audience or privately with no one else around. I got my first DSLR in 2006 and persued a life of eating, breathing, and sleeping wedding photography since having my first opportunity to photograph a wedding in 2008. I couldn't imagine doing anything else with my life than capturing the most emotional and important day in each individual's life!

My educational background includes a psychology degree from Florida International University and a photography degree from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, graduating as best portfolio winner of Winter 2012. Things that make me weak in the knees are natural window light, quality german chocolate, kittens, open fields, celtic music, and rustic weddings. I share a beautiful home in Sunrise, Florida with my significant other and the best four cats I can ask for.

    we can be friends ❤

A beautiful bride! | Vancouver, BC Wedding Photographer

I honestly can’t wait to get the pictures up from their wedding and engagement shoot! I seriously need some free time to make more posts!!!

Alexys + Alex are engaged! | Delray Beach, FL engagement photographer

I was so excited to photograph Alexys and Alex’s engagement session at the Morikami Japanese Museum and Gardens in Delray Beach! I’ve been hooked on the idea of doing an engagement session there ever since I shot a wedding there back in November. The grounds are so beautiful, and if you get to photograph at the right time, the lighting is perfect everywhere you go. After the park closed we found a giant open field and took some more romantic pictures until the sun officially set. I can’t stress it enough how wonderful everything is during the winter time– perfect weather, soft light, no humidity, and clear blue skies. It’s the only time I truly enjoy shooting outdoors in Florida. But enough about that! Enjoy the set:)

On the left my assistant Hal, filling the wine glasses, and on the right me with my bride-and-groom-to-be. I’m looking forward to their wedding in October!

Grace + Justin are married! {sneak peak} | Boca Raton, FL wedding photographer

Grace and Justin are such a cute couple! Here is a sneak peak or our quick little portrait session at sunset from today’s wedding.

Anne + Jeff are engaged! {sneak peak} | Delray Beach, FL engagement photographer

I really try not to post that many pictures for my sneak peaks but I just happen to have too many favorites from photo sessions. Here’s a sneak peak of the couple from today before they jumped in the ocean (that I’ll save for the full post!).

Shelini + Damo are married! | Oakland Park, FL wedding photographer

Shelini and Damo had a traditional (but not *too* traditional) and very intimate Indian wedding ceremony late November with only immediate family in attendance. I’m so happy we were able to get some sunset pictures, as well as experiment with some post-sunset!
