Sunrise engagement session!! Yes I love love and absolutely love doing sunrise portraits! Not just “morning” sessions, I’m talking true sunrise sessions where they sky is still dark and we wait for that first natural light to peek through. That sunrise golden hour where the humidity is at it’s lowest and it’s still so cool outside! It’s not a secret that I try to avoid sweaty situations in the summer as much as possible so I always bring up sunrise as an option to everyone (also to avoid those afternoon thunderstorms).
This was my first time at the Spanish River Library in Boca! It’s always been on my bucket list to photograph at this location. We got to see it in all of it’s morning glory with beautiful lighting and thankfully not as many mosquitos as anticipated (we didn’t leave unscathed, though). Jessica and Javier arrived nice and early and brought a bunch of supportive family members as well! It’s so beautiful to see so many family members that love them so much that they’re willing to wake up at 5 in the morning! As a mom I can imagine how wonderful it was for her mom to watch her daughter get her portraits done with her future husband. Such a beautiful family and I’m looking forward to their wedding in a few months!
