This wedding was SO FUN! From beginning to end! First let me tell you about these wild confetti poppers the bride was inspired to get an amazing shot with while she was getting ready at the Riverside Hotel in downtown Fort Lauderdale. Since this was (all of our) first times ever doing anything with confetti poppers, we quickly learned that the tiny confetti pieces are perfect for getting into everyone’s beautifully professionally perfected hair… whoops! The bride had such an amazing attitude about it and even though it was a total mess everywhere and a 20 minute hair re-do, she just enjoyed the moment and chowed down on some pizza before stepping into her dress. I just loved it!
We (like always!) made sure we scheduled some time with the bride and her parents for some beautifully priceless moments, including a first look with dad and a little gift to keep forever from his daughter.
Moving along to the rest of the wedding day it was just fun, fun, fun! Right next door was the Stranahan House Museum which hosted a beautiful ceremony and a stunning tent setup right on the riverwalk! Boats and water taxis passing by galore! It was such a unique mix of that old and new Fort Lauderdale feel and a perfect place to host an extremely fun wedding. All of the vendors (and huge props to the DJ: Eddie B and Company!) for making everyone go WILD on that light-up dance floor! Enjoy!
