As soon as we met Samantha and Katie, we knew we were meant to capture their special day and visa versa! They booked us well over a year and a half in advance and I can’t tell you how many times I counted the days left until we were going to photograph this amazing celebration!
We started off at the Waterstone Resort and Marina with a beautiful view on a beautiful day. We had some limitations on where we were able to photograph since it was a busy day in March with multiple weddings but a park nearby was the perfect answer to getting the first look done. One of my favorite parts about Bride Samantha’s dress was the famous slit that was that “bam!” to show off to her bride, Katie, and even for the first look with Dad!
Both of these beautiful brides had their own unique beauty and style that blended so well together. All of the staff and wedding guests were literally in awe all day long. During the ceremony there was not one dry eye in the place, I’ve never heard so many sniffles and had the opportunity to sniper snap so many crying guests!
Some more of my favorite parts of this day: the involvement and loving support of so many family members, the fact there was no bridal party (whaaat!? yeah, it makes things simple lol!), the surprise FAU mascot Owlsley, the surprise rainbow cake, Bride Samantha playing the violin for her stunning Bride Katie, and the AMAZING COOKIES made by Two Fat Cookies. Best cookies I literally ever ate (and I judge sweets. I take sweets very seriously.)
